Briefing to SIL Volunteers on Refugee Consultation

October 14, 2016: President CODE PAKISTAN Dilawar Khan had a detailed session with the students of the School of International Law (SIL) in Islamabad on CODE PAKISTAN’s upcoming project on holding national-level consultations with relevant stakeholders on Afghan refugees with an aim to derive policy recommendations on the subject. The students will be volunteering for the project as part of institutional collaboration between CODE PAKISTAN and SIL.

Following is an excerpt from the brief on the event by SIL in its Facebook post:

“The project recommendations will be very helpful in making an extensive and codified national policy on the management of Afghan refugees in Pakistan. The report will eventually be shared with national stakeholders. SIL volunteers will be part of the project and will support the project at various levels. “CODE PAKISTAN is very grateful to SIL for its support and appreciate students volunteerism” said Mr Dilawar Khan. SIL is honored to be considered as part of such national level policy recommendations and our students are extremely glad to volunteer and gain such valuable exposure and experience.”
