October 22-23: President CODE PAKISTAN participated in the two days proceedings of the “International Conference on Humanitarian Action in the World of Today: Challenges and Perspectives in the Light of Shariah and Humanitarian Law” in Islamabad. The event was organized by the Pakistan Delegation of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC).
ICRC invited top religious scholars and International law experts from various countries and regions of the world to discuss the contemporary challenges in times of an armed conflict. The scholars and International law experts participating in the conference were from: Afghanistan, Egypt, Jordan, Malaysia, Nepal, Nigeria, Pakistan, Saudia Arabia, Switzerland, and some other countries.
