July 16, 2021: CODE PAKISTAN completed the distribution of Kamyab Jawan merchandise in five madrassahs of KP today. The madrassahs in which CODE PAKISTAN distributed the Kamyab Jawan merchandise included the following madrassahs: Jamia Atharia, Peshawar; Jamia Rahmania, Dargai; Jamia Tibyan-ul-Quran, Batkhela; Jamia tus Salihat, Batkhela; and Jamia Baitul Quran, Batkhela. CODE PAKISTAN is also delivering English-language and computer courses in some of the aforementioned madrassahs for the welfare of their students.
We at CODE PAKISTAN believe that English-language and computer skills through the provided vocational and educational courses will enable the students of these madrassahs in earning livelihoods alongside their services in the field of Islamic learning, teaching, and preaching.
The administrations of all the madrassahs that received the Kamyab Jawan merchandise expressed their appreciation for CODE PAKISTAN for distributing the merchandise among their students and also appreciated CODE PAKISTAN for delivering the English-language and computer courses at their madrassahs.
The administrators and faculty members of the aforementioned madrassahs appreciated CODE PAKISTAN for including the students of the madrassahs in promotion of civic and social engagement of youth for effective and inclusive policy-making and implementation, provision of critical life and livelihood skills to communities, and promotion of economic empowerment of youth through employment and entrepreneurship.
They were of the view that through the inclusion of madrassah students in the activities of Kamyab Jawan, the program had assumed a more inclusive character because the madrassah students were a marginalized segment of the society who found it very difficult to secure livelihoods other than religious services because of a lack of contemporary skills. They also appreciated CODE PAKISTAN for reaching out to madrassahs in the peripheral areas of the countries for providing livelihood skills and education and distributing Kamyab Jawan merchandise among them. Some of the madrassahs also mentioned the contributions of CODE PAKISTAN for the betterment of their students on their social media pages.
