October 18, 2016: President CODE PAKISTAN Dilawar Khan participated in the first meeting of the steering committee on the National Counter Extremism Policy (NCEP). The meeting was called by the National Counter Terrorism Authority (NACTA) to discuss the formulation of the NCEP. The session called for involving provincial stakeholders for identifying issues related to counter-extremism, evolving a media strategy on NCEP, charting a future line of action for the steering committee, and other relevant issues.
Other prominent participants of the meeting were Senator Mushahid Hussain Sayed, National Coordinator NACTA Mr. Ihsan Ghani, Ex-Chief Secretary KP Mr. Shakil Durrani, former Corps Commander Bahawalpur Lt. Gen. (Retd.) Raza Khan, Secretary General Wafaqul Madaris al-Arabia Qari Hanif Jallundhri, DG Pakistan National Council of Arts (PNCA) Mr. Jamal Shah, Allama Amin Shaheedi, and Bishop Alexander John Malik.
